Question: I’m getting Yahoo phishing emails at my non-Yahoo address. Where can I report/send on these to Yahoo admins?
Says “Important Notice From Yahoo! Marketing” supposedly from “service@searchmarketing.yahoo.com” saying, in part “We are sorry to inform you that your online payments and transfers services are expired, and must be renewed immediately”
I’m also getting scammer-type emails asking me to join different Yahoo groups. Do I just ignore these? Should I report them? If so, to where?

I am a longtime my.yahoo user but have never before activated an email account. On 12/8 I signed up for Mail Plus, but have yet to be able to sign in and use the account. All attempts simply take me to the Yahoo mail “marketing” screen that offers the 3 mail alternatives. Clicking on the Mail Plus offering does yield a screen advising me I’m already signed up, but this frustrating circular process takes me right back to the marketing screen. Also, all attempts to contact Yahoo! via their help screens have been futile. Despite multiple attempts they have yet to reply. I’m running XP Pro and IE7. Would appreciate any assistance.

I always assumed that you would just go to http://mail.yahoo.com as usual and the account would have the additional features. If you want to use it in a separate email program then you set
pop3 – pop.mail.yahoo.com
smtp – smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Where did the values of $ 1.99 and $ 2.48 come from?
Is there any way I can lower these figures?
Can’t I insert a bid value?
Obviously, there are things about this proceedure that I don’t understand.
Please give me a hand here.

Daily spending limit: Maximum amount of money that you will like to spend on this particular campaign (eg : Car Auction). When the daily limit is reached campaign will become inactive and you will not incure further charges.
Impressions: Number of times the add is served (shown on yahoo search)
CTR(%): click through rate, this is the ratio of number of impressions / number of clicks.
Avg. CPC: This is cost per click, average amount that is charged per click. Average amount is decided by many different factors with in yahoo’s engine.
Cost: total cost that you have incurred for this particular campaign (over number of days or month)
You cannot lower the CPC, this depends on many factors, but what you can do is reduce the amount (bid) that you will like to spend on individual keywords. This way you will see less impressions and overall you will be charged less (implies less customers too). Decreasing your bid value too much may mean no impressions and clicks
Yes, you can insert a bid value for each individual keyword that you enter.
